About the Directorate of Academic Planning, ESUT.

Welcome to the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) Academic Planning website. ESUT is the first University of Technology in Nigeria. We have maintained the lead in training students to meet the technological challenges of our century and present world. To achieve this, the Planning Unit has followed a robust planning path that involves all stakeholders, beginning from the Management of the institution, the University community, the Alumni, Industry as well as the immediate surrounding community. Events in the international community are also taken into consideration. All these are driven by ESUT's vision, mission and core values.

In line with this, an Academic Brief and Strategic Plan have been developed to prioritize objectives, guide decision making and accountability. In maintaining this tripod on which all our planning stands, the Academic Planning Unit builds Statistics, develops proxies, indicies and metrics to measure progress of ESUT toward its shared vision and mission. To maintain relevance and sustainability, the Academic Planning Unit establishes a synergy between the Central Administration’s commitment to investing in staff, facilities and support units and implementation by the other arms of the University.
